Item Description
Ride behind a historic steam or diesel locomotive on a train trip through California's scenic Gold Country! Your 6-mile, 45-minute rountrip train ride will take you past the water tower from "Petticoat Junction," and transport you from the backyards of Jamestown to the rugged hillsides of California's Mother Lode country. At the end of the line (Rock Spur), your train will pause as the locomotive uncouples, "runs around" your train on a side track, then re-couples to the train's opposite end for the return trip to Jamestown.

Two passes to the Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown, California.
Your vouchers are valid for the regular operating season, which runs on weekends April - September. The trains depart at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm, however the schedule is subject to change and it is recommended that you call on the Friday prior to your planned visit to confirm the operating schedule. You must turn in your vouchers for tickets to the train. To get your tickets bring your vouchers to the Depot Store ticket window on the day of your planned train ride. Seating is first-come first-served and based on availability. Vouchers do not guarantee seating. The Ticket Office is open from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and it is recommended that you pick up your tickets at least 30 minutes prior to your preferred departure time.

Railtown 1897 State Historic Park is open daily (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day)
April-October: 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
November-March: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Valid until October 28, 2019. Excludes special trains and ticketed events. Use of pass is subject to space availability on trains.
