This unique and beautiful whale lantern by artist Kristian Brevik is constructed of stiffened paper and the skeleton revealed by light. It is approximately 30" long. Kristian has a fantastic display of lanterns at the New Bedford Whaling Museum which highlight whale entanglements and resulting whale deaths, particularly with the North Atlantic Right Whales.
