Item Description
150 lbs. of grass seed - Three, 25-lb. buckets of each variety.
777 (Triple Seven) is the newest generation of Creeping Bentgrass from the Seed Research of Oregon development team comprised of Dr. Rich Hurley and Dr. Leah Brilman, in conjunction with Rutgers University.
777 (Triple Seven) Creeping Bentgrass produces turf with an attractive dark green color, great heat tolerance and high disease resistance. Each parental line in 777 (Triple Seven) was subjected to an intensive breeding effort that resulted in a highly-rated, dependable variety that will perform in a broad range of environments. With an extended growing season, it resists Poa annua invasion and produces a dense and uniform putting surface.
Flagstick Creeping Bentgrass is a versatile variety with high density, rapid tillering, and fine leaf texture. It is the product of 20 years of research by Michigan State University and Seed Research of Oregon and resulted in the highest resistance to Dollar Spot. Flagstick is also resistant to Anthracnose, Red Thread, Brown Patch, Pink Snow Mold, and Take-All patch. With Flagstick, your fungicide inputs will be reduced.
The winning bidder receives 150 lbs. of grass seed (75 lbs. of each variety).
Shipping is included within the United States and Canada (including Alaska and Hawaii).
Proceeds benefit the Environmental Institute for Golf.
