Item Description

A Collection from the Wine Library of Jones Family Vineyards -- 3 of the Greatest Napa Valley Vintages of the Decade:

--One 750 ml 2012 Jones Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

--One 750 ml 2013 Jones Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

--One 750 ml 2014 Jones Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

For three vintages in a row, 2012, 2013, and 2014, Mother Nature smiled on the Napa Valley wine harvests and delivered bountiful crops of amazing quality.  The growing seasons were marked by healthy rains, few frost nights, and uniform growing days which yielded fruit showing great balance of acidity and sugar, gorgeous colors and optimal flavors. Many were reminded of the 80s in Bordeaux when they called it “The Three Glorious Vintages”.

Whatever you call it, the Napa Valley was blessed and winemakers had generous quantities of superior fruit to work with, despite an ongoing drought and an earthquake thrown in just for an additional challenge.

Here are three bottles from those three superb vintages of Jones Family Vineyards Estate Cabernet, made from estate grown grapes planted on their picturesque property located in the sun-drenched eastern hills of Calistoga.

Wine critic Robert Parker describes the Jones Family Vineyards Cabernet as follows: …“Sumptuous aromas of sweet blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, licorice and toasty background oak… with full-bodied power, stunning purity, concentration, and texture…This wine is indeed a sumptuous expression of its singularly magnificent terroir … and superior winemaking."

Here, you have an opportunity to taste for yourself—a 3-year collection of Jones Family Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted by "Top Gun" winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown.

Don’t wait too long to bid—this auction lot is a buy-out, every year!
