Maine Arts Camp is a small, nurturing camp community located on the Colby College campus in Waterville, Maine, with a maximum of 100 campers per session, ages 9-16.

For our arts-based camp, we have found the perfect facility to support our programming and philosophy. We have made a long term move to Colby College in Waterville, Maine starting the summer of 2017. Like Maine Arts Camp, Colby College has a true commitment to the arts. Maine Arts Camp benefits from facilities that can't be replicated at a typical overnight camp. With multiple painting, metal jewelry/stained glass/sculpture, drawing studios, an on campus theater & two dance studios, a full commercial kitchen for culinary classes, a state of the art photography studio, classrooms for film making and more, our professional instructors and teachers are able to bring high quality programming to our creative campers.

Besides the arts, Colby College has tennis courts, fields, a swimming pool, and a 10 acre lakefront on Messalonskee Lake for kayaking/canoeing.

We are also fortunate to have an on-campus food service, Bon Appetit, which provides dining service at Colby College.

At Maine Arts Camp, campers choose their schedules before camp starts. This enables us to keep class sizes small and campers able to get into activities they want. Campers take 10 activities, with 5 every other day, so activities stay fresh and interesting. Activities include: visual arts, theater, culinary arts, individual sports, dance, videography and photography, music, and special interests.

Session 1: Sunday, June 30 - Saturday, July 13, 2019; or

Session 2: Sunday, July 14 - Saturday July 27, 2019.
