Great wines do begin in the vineyard.  Two of Napa’s most notable growers, Karen Cakebread of ZIATA and Pete Richmond of Silverado Farming Company, share an unwavering commitment to preserving the agricultural heritage of this special valley, and have come together to create a one-of-a-kind experience for 1 lucky couple.  Your adventure begins on Friday, August 23, 2019 with a vineyard tour with Pete Richmond where he will share his insight about what makes the Napa Valley a world-renowned grapegrowing region. Following the tour, Pete will host you for lunch.

The following evening, dust off your boots and cowboy hat and get ready to kick off the 2019 harvest as you attend the Napa Valley Grapegrowers Harvest STOMP as the personal guests of Karen Cakebread. This invitation-only event brings together grapegrowers, vineyard owners and wine connoisseurs from across the United States to support the Napa Valley Grapegrowers and the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation in their efforts to preserve Napa Valley’s world-class vineyards and provide education and professional development for Napa’s vineyard workers.

It’s everyone’s favorite Harvest Party, and you'll really get to enjoy it because you'll be transported safely, to and from the event, with a $100 Uber credit.

Item Special Note

Collection of California Sales Tax: Unless a valid resale permit is presented to seller prior to the sale, purchaser will be required to pay all state and local retail sales taxes applicable on the date of sale. Resale permits will be accepted only for businesses that are reasonably expected to buy and sell wine. Sales tax will be collected on the purchase price of each lot which contains tangible goods.

Shipping or Pick up of Wines: Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Non-Napa County winners must arrange for their wines to be shipped from The Packaging Company, beginning Friday, March 1, 2019. If you're the lucky winner, we'll call or email you with directions for making this happen.

Napa County winners of auction lots containing wine may pick up their wines at the St. Helena office of the UpValley Family Centers beginning Friday, March 1, 2019. If you are the lucky winner, we'll call or email you with directions and details.
