Item Description
$50 gift certificate to Sportsman's Park Restaurant & Bar on Clayton Road
Sportsman's Park has been a neighborhood favorite in Ladue for 43 years. In 1974, the restaurant and bar was opened as Jackie's Place by Norman Probstein and NFL Hall of Famer and Football Cardinal great Jackie Smith. Jackie decided to pursue other interests in 1978, and in 1980, the establishment was renamed after the ballpark that for 33 years was the home field for both The St. Louis Browns and The St. Louis Cardinals. Sportsman's Park is now owned and operated by Norman's son Jim.
Sportsman's is known for its neighborhood feel, cozy atmosphere, classic sports memorabilia, friendly staff, and large portions. Highlights of our menu include half pound burgers, homemade turkey chili, chicken wings and strips in our famous hot sauce, our onion straws served with salsa mayo, delicious salads, house made Bleu cheese and Mayfair dressing, great sandwiches, and wraps. We offer Happy Hour specials Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. in the bar and have plenty of TV's for watching sports.
Sportsman's Park has a special history: A lot of grown-ups remember eating here as kids, and now they take their children.
