Item Description

One-of-a-kind premium end grain cutting board handcrafted from WV hardwoods by Vandalia WoodWorks & $10 gift certiicate to Charleston Bread

"Aged for months and ready to begin the next phase of usefulness, the rough lumber is hand picked for Vandalia WoodWorks and brought to our workshop, where each piece is meticulously cut into boards to bring out the best of the grain and the unique properties of each species."

The dimensions of the cutting board are 12.5" x 18.5" x 2.5".

The dark walnut comes from a farm in Clendenin; the spalted maple comes from the old train depot in Scott Depot; the light cherry comes from Parkersburg; and the ambrosia maple in the center of the piece comes from an Amish sawmill near Princeton.

Our artisans design and handcraft cutting boards, cheese slicers, wine caddies, coasters and other heirloom-quality hardwood kitchen hostess pieces. While many patterns may be repeated, each is unique and truly one of a kind."

Thank you, Vandalia WoodWorks & Charleston Bread, for your support of STEAM education!
