You are bidding on a $100 gift certificate toward enrollment in any art class or vacation program at the New Art Center.

The New Art Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting artistic creation and education through classes, exhibitions and public programs. At the New Art Center, we nurture children's creativity, encourage emerging artists, develop teaching opportunities and enrich the community through exhibitions.

The Center educates over 2,500 students annually in classes and workshops, sustains a faculty of 40 professional artists, and operates one of the few mid-sized nonprofit exhibition spaces in New England, with over 4,500 visitors each year. Our goals include increasing the understanding of the intellectual and practical tasks of creating art through hands-on experience, and expanding access to original works of art.

The New Art Center offers over 80 classes per term for Adults, Teens, and Children of all levels of students. Adult students can sign up for classes to explore an art process, such as print-making or stained glass, or participate in studio or critique classes that aid in developing the student’s individual body of work. Teen classes support the creative instincts of students while teaching foundational and technical skills. Classes for Children capitalize on student’s interests in experimenting while exposing them to a variety of art processes and the skills appropriate to their level for creating art.

Classes are offered over three terms: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Additionally, The New Art Center has an extensive Summer Arts Program for Children and Teens, and February and April Vacation Programs.

Item Special Note

Certificate valid for $100 off class or workshop.  It can also be used towards child or teen vacation programs. If used towards a workshop under $100 the remaining value can be used towards another class if registering at the same time but cannot be saved for future use.  This certificate can only be combined with an early registration discount, no other discounts can be applied.

  Winner pays for any shipping required, at USPS First Class rates. 

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5% of their bid to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees that are charged to Franklin by BiddingforGood. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
