Item Description
One rare copy of the biography of Joe Mashman, published in 1992 and now out of print. Mashman was Bell Helicopter's second chief helicopter test pilot and its long-time demonstration pilot, jobs that took him all over the world until his retirement in 1981. His story, written in his own words, includes many helicopter firsts and closely parallels the development of the helicopter industry from 1945 to 1990. HAI's Safety award was renamed in Mashman's honor in 1994. The books will be signed by R. Randall Padfield and can be personalized, if desired. A great gift for helicopter buffs…and history buffs, too!
