Vineyard Walk, Tour and Tasting for Four Guests

Porter Family Vineyards lie in the idyllic south eastern hills of Napa, in the Coombsville AVA. Blessed with generous amounts of warming sunshine, and cooled by the breezes from San Pablo Bay, their 14 acres of vineyards reside in ideal conditions for grape growing.

In the center of the vineyards lies a prominent hill. Within the walls of that hill, fifty feet underground, is their 17,000 square foot winery. Vines stand on and around the hill—but the only clue to the winery’s existence are two entrances that come up and out at two ends. It is here, in-cave, and on the adjacent gravity-flow crush pad, that they carefully craft their wines.

Four very fortunate guests will revel in a vineyard walk with spectacular views.  You’ll then tour the 17,000 square foot cave and production facility, and finally sit down to a special tasting accompanied by cheeses and chocolates.

From their hillside vineyards and underground winery, the Porter Family makes small amounts of beautifully hand-crafted wines—each one carrying the unique signature of the unique place they call home.

Collection of California Sales Tax: Unless a valid resale permit is presented to seller prior to the sale, purchaser will be required to pay all state and local retail sales taxes applicable on the date of sale. Resale permits will be accepted only for businesses that are reasonably expected to buy and sell wine. Sales tax will be collected on the purchase price of each lot which contains tangible goods.

Shipping or Pick up of Wines: Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Non-Napa County winners must arrange for their wines to be shipped from The Packaging Company, beginning Friday, March 1, 2019. If you're the lucky winner, we'll call or email you with directions for making this happen.

Napa County winners of auction lots containing wine may pick up their wines at the St. Helena office of the UpValley Family Centers beginning Friday, March 1, 2019. If you are the lucky winner, we'll call or email you with directions and details.
