Inspired by love and the great works of Rothko & Agnes Martin, the 109 faces of Kindergarten collectively make up a singular piece of inspiration, hope and youth. The pinks of Rothko set a backdrop glow allowing love to shine from the smiles of the children and the hearts of their hands. The delicate goldenrod grid of Agnes Martin speaks to Lincoln’s strong belief in community. The quote at the bottom reads “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible” by the Dalai Lama providing a soft reminder that the youth of today is our foundation for building a kinder world.
Printed on canvas and framed, “Love Lincoln” is 18”x24”.
