Item Description
Want the Camp Nor'wester experience but are too old or too young to enroll? GOOD NEWS! You can have the Nor'wester experience at Little Camp, the Voinot-Baron family property on Orcas Island. Sleeping in a teepee, hunting for shells on our cozy beach, kayaking, and singing around a campfire are all possible at Little Camp.
Two nights accommodations for up to 4 folks, with 2 choices of enjoying the property. Either 1) camp independently on the property with full use of our sleeping and camp cooking accommodations or 2) enjoy a catered weekend that will include 2 hearty camp breakfasts and 2 gourmet dinners accompanied with red and white wines, plus afternoon beers!
Stay must take place between May 13 and September 9, 2019. Margretta will contact and work with the winner on scheduling their stay at Little Camp.
Item Special Note
Special note: A great addition to your stay at Little Camp would be a campfire/singalong evening with former music director Richard Carter! Click here to learn more!
The Voinot Family has long been connected with Camp Nor'wester. Maggie and Will Voinot-Baron were campers the last year on Sperry, and they both were campers and staff on John's Island. Margretta, along with her sisters, was a camper and staff during the Helsell years on Sperry, and she and Glen Baron were married on Voyageur Point in 1978. Margretta's father, Paul Voinot, was a camper on Westcott Bay with Frank and Lucille Henderson.
