Item Description
Arnold Daniel Palmer (September 10, 1929 – September 25, 2016) was an American professional golfer who is known as one of the greatest and most charismatic players in the sport's history. Dating back to 1955, when he won his first professional event, the Canadian Open, he has gone on to win over 62 PGA Tour titles.
Up for auction is a framed, clean Arnold Palmer autograph on a Bay Hill label, depicting the iconic Palmer golf umbrella.
As a measure of his popularity, Palmer, like Elvis Presley before him, was known simply as "The King." But in a life bursting from the seams with success, Palmer never lost his common touch. He was a man of the people, willing to sign every autograph, shake every hand, and tried to look every person in his gallery in the eye. Golf Week
