Item Description

Another Beverly Capstick Lutzyn Original - the BoB award at a Detroit show, year unknown . It shows a pair of black&tan Doberman heads in stunning 3D effect using the technique known as Copper Repousse' or Copper Bas-Relief.

Beverly worked in copper, utilizing the warmth and antiquing quality of the metal to show the markings and structure of each animal. She felt the metal reflected the enduring bond of dogs to man.

Beverly has shown, trained, bred and judged Dobermans. Art has been a common thread throughout her life, weaving her vocation as an Art teacher and her love of dogs together. Her artwork in copper, was shown under the name of Lutzyn Originals, LLC. The business closed in January 2017.

The wooden frame measures 12 x 15. The artwork itself is some 9 x 7.5

The wording you see is on sticky embossed tape that could remove then engrave your own message, or alternatively the frame & artwork can be easily unscrewed from the wooden base and remounted elsewhere. (and that would reduce shipping costs!)
