Item Description
Your family, or your child and their friends, can ride horses (up to 6 people) at our farm in Haw River for approximately 2 hours total. At a date and time to be arranged in the future.
You can also visit with our herd of friendly people-oriented horses! Besides riding, our horses can be painted/decorated, fed carrots and apples (they hope you choose this option!), hand-walked like dogs, brushed, and/or we can show you how horses are cared for on a daily basis. We also have a white horse that likes to “dress up” as a unicorn and take pictures-so bring a princess dress if your child desires!
We will instruct you- no horse/riding experience is needed. We have a small pony that our kindergartener rides and several horses that have given many, many people their first ride.
You must wear close-toed shoes, and a helmet. We will provide the helmet.
For the welfare of the horses, all riders must be under 200lbs. on the honor system. We will not weigh anyone!
Only three beginning riders max can be mounted at a time, so we can give you personalized attention while you’re learning. We really want you to have a fun and totally safe experience!
