Item Description
Professional printed and framed photograph of the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow Light, built in 1883, taken by local Sleepy Hollow resident and photographer Alan Perlman.
This image is a compilation 278 individual photographs taken over 90 minutes to create the "Star Trails" effect. The photography technique uses the earth's rotation to make it appear as if the stars are moving. The star in the middle is Polaris, or the North Star, which remains stationary in the image (and in the night sky) because of the earth's axis is pointing directly at this guiding star. (Date Taken: July 7, 2018)
Item Special Note
This photo is a 16x24 print and is 24x32 when including the frame and mat
