Item Description
Winner will receive a one year family level membership to the Sugar Hill Museum of Art and Storytelling.
Located in Harlem’s Sugar Hill historic district, and inspired by
the legacy of the Harlem Renaissance, the Sugar Hill Children’s
Museum of Art & Storytelling is Upper Manhattan’s only
children’s art and storytelling museum. Through art exhibitions,
engaging art making experiences, imaginative storytelling, an
artist-in-residence program and encounters with working artists,
the Museum supports the creative and cognitive development
of young visitors, while serving as a platform for intergenerational cultural exchange.
Influenced by Reggio Emilia’s philosophy of early childhood
education, all Museum programs are rooted in community, self guided discovery, creative expression and the learning that
naturally occurs through play and exploration. As a program of Broadway Housing Communities, the Museum is the cultural capstone of BHC’s Sugar Hill Project
encapsulated in a mixed use building designed by globally acclaimed architect David Adjaye.
Item Special Note
Expires one year after membership is activated.
