You're bidding on seven copies of Jessica Anya Blau's latest book, The Trouble with Lexie, and she will visit your book club! In its five star review of The Trouble with Lexie, The San Francisco Book Review said, "This contemporary, hilarious work from Jessica Anya Blau is addictive and fast-paced.” Library Journal wrote, “A crazy and twisted ending ... readers will be gasping by the last page.” And WYPR’s Tom Hall said, “I quit smoking thirty ago and reading this book I wanted to just lean back, look at the ceiling and have a few puffs. On many occasions!"
Jessica Anya Blau’s other books include, "The Wonder Bread Summer;" "Drinking Closer to Home;" and the national bestseller "The Summer of Naked Swim Parties." Her books have made many Best Books of the Year lists and have been chosen as Best Summer Reads and/or featured on the Today Show, The New York Post, New York Magazine, Cosmo, CNN, Vanity Fair, NPR, Oprah.Com and others. Currently, Ms. Blau is collaborating with Tracy Walder on Ms. Walder's memoir which covers her years as a covert operative for CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, as she assumed aliases and thwarted terrorist attacks throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The ABC TV series, based on the book, is in preproduction with Ms. Walder and Ms. Blau consulting. Jessica Anya Blau grew up in Southern California and divides her time between Baltimore, Maryland, and New York City.
