One hour private ballet lesson at Steps on Broadway with Michelle Cave, teacher at Steps on Broadway, School at Steps, and Founder of Ballet and Beyond NYC. Appropriate for any age, any level of experience.
Michelle Cave knows firsthand the benefits of ballet, both as a professional dancer and as a professional in the corporate world. Born in California, Michelle received her early ballet training at the Sacramento Ballet School, was awarded summer scholarships to the San Francisco Ballet School, and completed a year at the Royal Ballet Upper School in London. Faced with a choice between pursuing a ballet career and accepting admission to Stanford University, she chose the latter while continuing to dance and teach in Silicon Valley. As a professional, she performed with Sacramento Ballet, Western Ballet, Ballet Internationale, New Jersey Ballet, and Classics Dance Theatre, among other companies, and performed as a guest artist in Seattle, Washington. Her academic work culminated in a BA in International Relations, an MA in International Policy and an MBA, all from Stanford University, and she worked for more than ten years as a fixed income research analyst on Wall Street. Michelle has taught ballet to children and adults for more than 25 years. She is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway and the School at Steps, and she is certified in the ABT National Curriculum Training from Primary through Level 3.
