Item Description
Local artist and a Lincoln Eliot School parent, Jessica Steytler, has generously donated this beautiful, hand painted silk scarf! She is a self-taught artist (with a little bit of help from mom who is also an artist and retired art teacher) and has been painting over 30 years. Jessica definitely came from a family with creative genes! Please visit https://www.jessicasteytler.com/ to find out more about Jessica and her work!
This scarf done in an abstract geometric motif is highly adaptable for a night on the town, office-wear, or paired with jeans and a sweater for the artsy, casual look. The scarf measures 11” x 60” and is made of 100% silk. The silk dye is color fast, but should be hand washed cold, hung to dry, and ironed low. It will fade / become fragile if it is exposed long-term to sunlight.
If you have something a little different in mind, please take a look at Lot #135 for Jessica’s donation of time to commission a customized piece for you or a loved one!
