When was the last time you took your family to the zoo?
The Oakland Zoo is offering a family pass (including parking -- yes, that's a big deal), so you can bring your family out for a day of exploration, learning and fun. The Zoo is nestled in the rolling hills of 525 acre Knowland Park and is home to more than 650 native and exotic animals.
The Oakland Zoo isn't just an "animal museum" -- it's a living, changing, vital center for conservation and learning. Its various habitats show children (and adults) a microcosm of different habitats and how the animals native to them have adapted. It's a springboard to learning how those same habitats and unique creatures might be threatened by human or environmental factors and starts what could be -- and should be -- a lifelong conversation about how to steward and care for our planet's spectcualr natural diversity.
Plus -- giraffes are awesome, man!
The Oakland Zoo is a local treasure. This is a great opportunity to support their mission while having a great time.
One Oakland Zoo Family Day Pass includes free admission for two adults and two children and free parking for one vehicle. Family Pass should be used in a single visit during regular Zoo hours only. Special events are excluded. Expiration date cannot be extended. This certificate holds no cash value.
Expiration Date: 04/30/2020
