Package is designed especially for kids thirteen and over and includes: Comprehensive examination of the child's mouth (tongue, throat, gums, teeth, complete cavity check), Cleaning, Fluoride application, Yummy Cavity Prevention Plan (Oral hygiene instruction of brushing and flossing, Fluoridated toothpaste, review of foods to minimize-including snacks, sports drinks, soda), Orthodontic smile evaluation, Diagnostic x-rays, Completion of required school forms.

The Experience
Many people think of us as the Volvo of pediatric practices. We are a safe choice (Dr. Yum is on-staff at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and is exceptionally qualified) and we feature a Scandinavian-inspired, advanced, state of the art, contemporary, inviting practice. Parents love that our entire facility is a HotSpot, so they can check email or get work done, either on their laptops, or on the Netbook in our reception area. Kids often get lost in the children's movies we play on the flatscreens in our treatment suites. Right when they walk in the door, our concierge issues them a "boarding pass," with their name and destination on it. Some days they're headed for the Hawaii treatment suite, other days they're headed to Disneyland. Some kids don't want to leave!

We are strong believers in the concept that there is no better dental care for children than from certified pediatric dentists. Interestingly, while many dentists say they treat kids, most do not receive formal training to treat children. Even fewer are certified pediatric dentists. Certified pediatric dentists are intensively trained for years to provide comprehensive, preventative, and restorative dental care specially designed for infants, toddlers, and teenagers.
