Item Description

CAMi Box Set - 2014 & 2015 Napa Valley Estate Red Wine, 2 Bottles + Olive Oil in Wood Box

Our three bottle wood box featuring one bottle of 2014 Red Wine, one bottle 2015 Red Wine, and one bottle of our 2017 Estate Olive Oil.

CAMi 2014 Napa Valley Estate Red Wine: 53% merlot and 47% cabernet sauvignon. Opaque and garnet in color with a luscious bouquet of red and blue berries, balanced by rose petal and tobacco with a touch of smoke on the nose, this wine is rich, juicy, and dense in texture like chocolate and boysenberry pie with a hint of smoke and tarragon.

93+pts from Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate.

CAMi 2015 Napa Valley Estate Red Wine: Made from a nearly fifty fifty blend of our Three Palms Vineyard Clone Merlot and our 337 Clone Cabernet Sauvignon, our wine fills the palate with blue fruits and a long silky finish. We made a mere four barrels!

94 points ~ Robert Parker

CAMi 2017 Estate Olive Oil: 750ml of estate grown olive oil.

Name of Winery: CAMi

Bottle Size: 750ml

Number of Bottles: Two

Varietal: Red Blend of Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon

Appellation: Napa Valley

Our farmer uses a hands-off, let the site drive the wine philosophy. Cane-pruned and green-farmed, our vines are not allowed herbicides or synthetic fertilizers. Grapes from this land are low-yielding and loose-bunch, with berry-size that is roughly 35-40% smaller than the Napa Valley average.

CAMi Vineyards is a labor of love for our family. Located on the Napa Valley floor between St. Helena and Calistoga, our two acre vineyard produces 100% estate grown, decadent, cellar-worthy red wines. Enjoy them upon release or collect them to savor in the years to come.

CAMi began with the birth of our fifth child in 2001. The property was purchased the year before and planted with the blessing of David Abreu. He said “this is Cabernet dirt.” With that, Tom and I bought the property and settled in.

Since then, the Trail House has been a sanctuary for our family. Bordered by the Selby Creek and Manzanilla olive trees, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vineyards are also flanked by a tiny orchard, a chicken coop, vegetable and rose gardens.

Previously, the grapes were sold to other wineries. In 2008 our family lost Tom Shelton to cancer and our vineyard took on his spirit. We decided to consider making our own wine.

Since then, we have bottled limited amounts of wine for our family. In 2013, we committed 50% of our production to produce the CAMi label. According to Robert Parker, 2013 “is the best vintage in 37 years.”
