Item Description
2009 Will Jarvis' Science Project, Napa Valley Red Blend, 2 Bottles
Our 2009 Science Project is an uncommon blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Now in its third vintage, the wine has become a favorite of Jarvis Estate enthusiasts, as well as wine reviewers.
An alluring blend of 95% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot combine to create an elegantly perfumed wine with a hint of mulberries. With fresh, fruit forward flavor, this wine is intended to be enjoyed at an early age. The 2009 vintage was cave aged in new French oak for nine months, followed by another nearly three years of cave aging before release in May 2013 for your enjoyment.
94 Points, Wine Enthusiast. The quality of this wine “has remained constant...with firm tannins and a cut of fresh acidity, giving it a rich, cherry intensity. The sheer luxury of the mouth feel alone merits this wine’s high score. -- S. Heimoff (December, 2012)
