2009 Will Jarvis' Science Project, Napa Valley Red Blend: Our 2009 Science Project is an uncommon blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Now in its third vintage, the wine has become a favorite of Jarvis Estate enthusiasts, as well as wine reviewers. Awarded 94 points by Wine Enthusiast.

An alluring blend of 95% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot combine to create an elegantly perfumed wine with a hint of mulberries. With fresh, fruit forward flavor, this wine is intended to be enjoyed at an early age. The 2009 vintage was cave aged in new French oak for nine months, followed by another nearly three years of cave aging before release in May 2013 for your enjoyment.

2010 Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Franc: Cabernet Franc has long been the favorite grape varietal of William Jarvis. He believes that it grows exceptionally well in the Napa Valley and is particularly suited to the Jarvis cool climate vineyards.

Spending 21 leisurely months on 100% new French Nevers Oak gives this lavender beauty a hint of toasty oak and vanilla on top of its natural berry and floral aromas. Having been aged in the optimal environment of our cave, this wine was released when our winemaker felt it was ready for full enjoyment. Will drink beautifully for up to ten years.

2010 Napa Valley Estate Petit Verdot: Petit Verdot is a finicky little grape packed with a lot of power. It is usually the last to ripen during harvest. As a specialty wine it is developing quite a following. Petit Verdot contributes a beautiful deep color and black fruit flavor to our Lake William blend. Also, a small amount of the crop is bottled 100% varietal. This provides you a unique tasting experience of a varietal not commonly seen unblended.

2012 Napa Valley Estate Tempranillo: Dimitri Tchelistcheff, our long-time consultant, had a special feeling for Tempranillo and suggested planting one acre, making this a very limited production wine. The name Tempranillo comes form the Spanish, "temprano" which means "early", and Tempranillo true to its name is always our first red grape to ripen. Aging for a minimum of 12 months in 100% French oak helps to make this an especially food friendly wine.

This is the sixth vintage of Tempranillo produced by Jarvis Estate and it has already gained a devoted following. The 2012 vintage of this wine enjoyed nine months in French oak, followed by nine months of cave aging and is ready to enjoy now.

2012 Napa Valley Estate Merlot: Merlot is a varietal that does very well on the gentle, sloping vineyards of Jarvis Estate, producing a highly anticipated wine. Our 100% Merlot is so desired, it is often our first wine to sell out each vintage.

Our Merlot 2012 is 100% Merlot! Each year we set aside a select portion of Merlot to be bottled on its own as a varietal wine, which today has become one of the most sought after Jarvis wines. Before bottling, the 2012 vintage was aged 18 months in new French Haute Futaie oak, which allowed the wine to integrate its plum, black cherry and spice flavor characteristics into a wine that is especially food friendly.

Jarvis Estate is a Napa Valley winery noted for its ultra-premium, estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The grapes are all from its own estate vineyards and its wines are made in a beautiful cave 4 miles to the east of Napa. Unique tasting tours daily by appointment.
