Item Description
In 1897, at the age of 27, Leonard Kreusch, founded the family winery in Germany and began producing wines commercially. Upon the repeal of Prohibition, the family began export of their wines to the U.S. In 1950, Leonard Kreusch, Inc. was founded as a corporation in the state of New Jersey to serve as sole importer and distributor of the brand. Over 60 years later - now in the fourth generation - the company remains family-owned and operated and continues their mission of offering outstanding quality and value in, not only German wines, but also those from Europe’s best regions.
An estate-grown Mosel Riesling produced with a moderate – semidry – amount of residual sweetness. It offers classic notes of green apple, pear and citrus with touch of mineral and is an extremely versatile accompaniment to your favorite dishes.
This wine has also garnered consistently high scores from leading wine publications over the past several years.
