Item Description
This United States Eisenhower Centennial Silver Dollar is an authenticated, genuine collectible. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dwight D. Eisenhower, 5-star general of WWII and 34th President of the United States. The obverse was designed by John Mercanti which shows Eisenhower as a president superimposed on Eisenhower the general. The reverse depicts Eisenhower's home at Gettysburg.
This commemorative coin the first American silver coin to be minted at the West Point Mint in 1990 and was never circulated.
