Item Description
Private tour of the UN Headquarters in New York with the Danish Ambassador to UN Martin Bille Hermann.
The winners of this priceless experience will among other things tour the Security Council, General Assembly Hall and the Trusteeship Council, which was donated by Denmark in 1949, designed by Finn Juhl, and which recently was renovated in the spirit of the Danish design master.
The Headquarters of the United Nations is located in New York City, along the East River. When you pass through the gates of the United Nations visitor's entrance, you enter an international territory. This 18-acre site does not belong to just one country, but to all countries that have joined the Organization; currently, the United Nations has 193 Member States.
Martin Bille Hermann has served as Danish Ambassador to UN since 1 January 2019. Before taking up this position Ambassador Hermann was State Secretary for Development Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Demark. Prior to this he served as Denmarks Ambassador to Indonesia.
