You can contact Nancy Arnold by email at nancykayarnold@gmail.com for more information on her books and programs.

Nancy Arnold’s love of children and America is reflected in her books, as it was in her classroom during her 30 years as an elementary school teacher. She was honored to receive the 2011 Arizona Teacher of the Year award from the Arizona Federation of Republican Women and to be named in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers for three consecutive years.

Her first book, Patriotic Pups, won Arizona’s Glyph Award in 2009 for best children’s fiction by an Arizona Author. Her followup, Pioneer Pups, received the 2015 Silver Will Rogers Medallion Award for illustrated western fiction for young readers. Pilgrim Pups, the newest addition to the series, recently received Honorable Mention in the 2017 Purple Dragonfly Book Awards for children’s writing.

Nancy has been the recipient of awards from the Arizona State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, recognizing her for her contributions to literacy and children’s history books. She also received The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution American Heritage Committee Women in the Arts Recognition Award. Mrs. Arnold’s books are included on the recommended reading lists of both the National Federation of Republican Women and Constituting America. She is a member of the Educational Advisory Board for Constituting America.

Being invited to sign Patriotic Pups at Mount Vernon and having the book in the gift shop there and at James Madison’s Montpelier estate have been personal high points for the author. Although a native of Texas, she and her husband now reside in Arizona and she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes five grandchildren."
