The word Mola comes from the Kuna Indian word for clothing, which originally meant bird plumage. It originates from Panama.
The Upper Elementary students created their own work of Mola Art using yarn. The students collaborated on the design andd creation of this work of art. The image is of a grosbeak which is a large finch. It features the typicao Mola style of brightley colored deign.
