Just four years after Urban first opened it's doors to students, toddler Traci Des Jardins was learning to run - we can only imagine in a toque around a toy kitchen set. Lucky for us, the two-time James Beard award-winning chef and chef/owner or partner of six restaurants in San Francisco has never stopped.
Treat your friends to a rare and delicious dining experience from one of the finest and well respected chefs in America. Join hosts Jennifer Roy, Traci Des Jardins, and Gretchen & Jim Sandler for an intimate evening in either the Sandler's wonderful home in Parnassus Heights or at a home of buyers choice (within an hour's drive please). Chef Traci will prepare an unforgettable intimate and fun dining experience for 12. The evening will include appetizers and champagne/cocktails followed by a four-course meal paired with perfect wines.
Traci has been a part of the San Francisco food community for over 25 years and has opened many great San Francisco eateries including Jardinière, her iconic French-California restaurant, Public House in Oracle Park, Mijita in the Ferry Building, Presidio-based Arguello, and of course, The Commissary--which was named one of the best restaurants in the country by Esquire Magazine. Traci is a dedicated philanthropist in the Bay Area and is known for her unending generosity in the community. She has been a long time supporter of the farm to table movement and sustainability and is consulting for the food start up, Impossible Foods.
