Item Description

Made of appealing materials, MENU Antipode Candle Stick 02 constitutes a small, practical candle holder system which can, at the same time, perform as charming soloist elements. The system consists of three rotationally symmetric objects which can be turned to form different combinations, at different heights. It pays tribute to everyday Nordic culture and to the tradition of sensitively designed candle holders.

Born in Berlin in 1966, Carsten Gollnick graduated in Industrial Design from the Braunschweig School of Fine Arts in 1992. His own company – Carsten Gollnick Design – is a benchmark for quality and innovation in product and interior design. Carsten Gollnick, the creator of “culture of objects”, has a remarkable history which, among many other distinctions, encompasses several Red Dot Design Awards and iF Design Production Awards as well as inclusion in the International Design Yearbook 2001.

All elements fit above and below each other, resulting in a range of scenarios which are always beautiful and space-saving. Classic turned parts made of brass feature different surfaces and patinas. Screwed-on threads improve the hold of the candles. Antipode is made of high-quality material with a surface of both subtle shine and dullness at one and the same time. Be creative and contrive your own personal combination of the Antipode candleholders.
