Item Description
Jennifer Rich, the owner of Oblation Printers and Press in the Pearl, regularly travels to printing/paper tradeshows in Paris. To support this auction she has put together this collection of French vintage papers, including several items from Jenny Doudous. Jenny grew up in Portland and now lives in Montmartre, where she deals in vintage French papers. Enjoy these history-filled gift enclosures, papers, Bonbon labels from the 1940's and hand-painted French postcards from the French Toasts (1900-1920) series.
Completing the package is a 15" Eiffel tower and a framed print from the printer, Imagerie d'Epinal, founded in 1796 by Jean-Charles Pellerin. This print, no. 418, was purchased in Paris in 1973 by Alliance member, Debbie Johnson, and is offered here to support this auction. Measures 17" by 20". These prints were originally designed for paper cut-outs to build a 3-D construction.
This package also includes a table-top Eiffel Tower.
