Private Air Tour of L.A. -- In the comfort of a well equipped and fully certified Cessna Skyhawk airplane with noise-canceling headphones and background music. Depart Torrance airport heading east to see the USS Iowa and Queen Mary as we cross over Long Beach airport and view the beautiful Chino Hills before making a circle over the Rose Bowl. The next part of the flight is a lop around LA almost level with the tops of the tallest buildings, see Dodger Stadium, the iconic courthouse, Staples Center, Disney Music Hall and more. Heading back towards the Hollywood Hills get a great view of the Griffith Observatory and vow "to be back." Then a cruise along the Hills to see the Hollywood sign, Greek Theater, Hollywood Bowl, Design Center, Beverly Hills, UCLA, the Getty and more as we turn to head south at 2500 feet over LAX and watch big planes take off and land. SPECIAL, new this year - passengers between 8 and 18 years old will receive a pilot log book and be entered into the worlds largest online flight log. Alternate routes available if desired and pilot agrees. If desired, there may be a chance for the front seat rider to actually fly the airplane. Total weight of all passengers must not exceed 410 pounds. Maximum of 3 passengers. Time and date depends on pilot and weather. Valid until March 1, 2020.
Item Special Note
This item will be available for pick up at the Peninsula Education Foundation Office located at 300 A Paseo Del Mar, PVE on Tuesday, May 14th between 8:30am and 10:30am and Wednesday, May 15th between 2:30pm and 5:00pm. If winner requests item to be shipped, winner will pay all shipping costs. Winner will be charged applicable California sales tax.
