Item Description

This handmade, Artisan shawl with it's trimmed, rubber edging displays sets of 4 1/2" squares (approximate) of tiny, rubber discs, resulting in tactile texture - organic and primal. The contemporary fabric blend is soft and comfortable. Broenink is a Dutch designer with a passion for fashion and accessories. She studied fashion design and has an extensive background in design and sales in the Amsterdam fashion industry. Annemieke has been designing her own collection of playful necklaces and collars – a combination of both art and fashion – since 2004. All her wearable art is produced in her own studio.

This shawl is made of black silky gauze polyester with persimmon rubber studs. The tag price is $250. There are minor imperfections.

This shawl was donated by Betsy Jenney of Happy Clothes, at Newbury Street and Newton Center, featuring fashion forward women's clothing, casual, dressy and bridal for all ages.
