Item Description
Whether you are an avid art lover or want to explore more of San Francisco's amazing cultural attractions with family and friends, look no further! The winner of this package will receive private tours of not just one world-class museum, but two!
Enjoy a private docent-led tour of a special exhibition and VIP tickets for up to 10 guests at the de Young. Founded in 1895 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, the de Young Museum has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of the city and a cherished destination for millions of residents and visitors to the region for over 100 years. Current and upcoming special exhibitions include works from Monet, Gauguin, Ana Prvacki, and Ed Hardy.
The winner will also experience a private, after-hours tour at SFMOMA for up to 8 guests. The Snøhetta expansion makes SFMOMA the largest museum of contemporary art in the U.S. and reimagines the museum as a new art experience and gateway into the city of San Francisco. You will have a chance to visit the much anticipated exhibition, Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again. As the first Warhol retrospective organized in the U.S. since 1989, this is a must-see show! The tour will take place before the museum opens to the public and includes a memorable brunch at Café 5, the museum’s Californian-fusion restaurant located adjacent to the Jean and James Douglas Family Sculpture Garden.
Item Special Note
The de Young Museum tour must take place during normal public hours and requires at least three weeks advance notice.
Donated by Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, SFMOMA, and Kate Harbin Clammer & Adam Clammer
