Item Description
Natalie Frank is a visual artist and Austin native who has studied all over the world. Exhibitions featuring her work have been held nationally and internationally. She is a strong-minded advocate for women artists in a traditionally male-dominated field. She’s also the artist whose series of drawings on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales inspired Ballet Austin Artistic Director Stephen Mills to pursue GRIMM TALES, a new world-premiere dance work, featuring grown-up retellings of The Frog King, Snow White, and The Juniper Tree.
Gift certificate entitles winner to a one (1) hour studio visit with the artist, along with a signed copy of the her book, "Natalie Frank: Tales of the Brothers Grimm", a celebration of the lesser-known of the unsanitized fairy tales collected by the illustrious brothers carefully chosen by the artist, re-interpreted in seventy-five gouache and chalk pastel drawings, and cast in a Surrealist dreamscape.

Winning items can be picked up at P.S. 3 Charrette School, 490 Hudson St., NY, NY 10014 (between Christopher & Grove Streets). If you are unable to pick up your item (including gift certificates) at P.S. 3, you are responsible for additional shipping charges via FedEx.
