Item Description
Surgi Doll created by Sabine Spare: Hand marbled silk/cotton, rubber inner-tubes, burlap, fusing, leather, cotton embroidery thread, polyester fibrefill
Yvette is a tactile doll. Designed prioritizing the visually impaired and those who prefer to ‘see’ with their hands, she is meant to be felt and to be held. Her achromatic body was created using a variety of dead-stock materials and textile techniques, making each part of her texturally distinctive.
