Item Description
Surgi Doll created by Yahn Nemirovsky: cotton, corduroy, linen, polyester felt, polyester stuffing, elastic, metal hardware, plastic needlepoint canvas, cotton embroidery floss, cotton yarn, acrylic yarn,
Luce loves to look through their dads' old zine collection. It reminds them of the stories that their dads tell about the summer that the two of them joined a band together and fell in love. Luce knows that one day they’ll be good at loving somebody too.
Item Special Note
Yahn Nemirovsky is a Toronto-based artist working primarily in stitching, print media and bookbinding. With great admiration for two object realms in particular: those of zines and stitching samplers. Yahn creates objects that exist in the intersections of the often fast, made-for-circulation ethos of zines, and the slow, one-off making of domestic craft.
