Artist's Statement: Color Grid originates from my ongoing drawing practice of simple geometric forms on found paper. This piece reinterprets multiple drawings into a grid, utilizing the print process for bold color relationships. Torn edges of the grid counter the hard-edged forms that are imposed upon them, creating a tactile visual experience.
