In need of a gift or want a little something for yourself for once?! Bauer Pottery is beautiful handmade pottery made in California. Decades after the original factory ceased production, Bauer Pottery continues to captivate antique collectors across the country. Using existing vintage pieces to derive new molds, the company now manufactures replicas of original Bauer designs, in many original and new colors.
The winner of this item will receive:
1. Russel Wright American Modern Chop Platter, color chartreuse. Introduced in 1939, Russel Wright’s American Modern line garnered appeal with its trademark curvy silhouettes, rounded corners, and earthy colors. More than three-quarters of a century later, American Modern still suits a variety of styles, settings, and occasions-- to borrow Wright’s words, like a “little black dress”. Sophisticated dining for ten, or casual coffee for two. Russel Wright American Modern is handmade exclusively by Bauer Pottery of Southern California.
2. Large Madagascar Vase, color custom ombre.This is the tallest of our Madagascar Vase series and will showcase flowers or dry decorative branches beautifully. The vase stands twelve and a half inches tall, with a diameter of seven and a quarter inches and a circumference of twenty-three and a half inches.
3. Brayton Laguna Cat, color copper green. First introduced by Brayton Laguna Pottery in 1960. This graceful mid-century feline stands a proud 16 inches.
4. Demi Cat Bowl, color orange. The Bauer Demi Cat Bowl is the perfect dinnerware for your feline; measures one and three-quarters inches tall by four and a half inches in diameter.
Item Special Note
All items not taken home at the end of the Gala on May 10th will be available for pickup at the Larchmont Charter Administrative Office, 444 N. Larchmont Blvd., #207, Los Angeles, CA 90004 on Tuesday, May 14 from 9am - 2pm and on Wednesday, May 15 from 9am - 2pm.
If you are not local or are not able to pick up your items on May 14th or 15th, please make alternate arrangements for pick up by emailing us at gala@larchmontcharter.org.
Bidder is responsible for a shipping and handling fee (gift certificates can be shipped for free by arrangement) which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via UPS or USPS, and billed at standard industry rates.
