The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History inspires a thirst for discovery and a passion for the natural world.
We're not your typical structured museum with stiff curators, cold halls, and strict rules. We like to go outside and get our hands dirty, pick things up and take a closer look, laugh, skip, or maybe even jump for joy. Because learning is messy and we all learn by doing, not sitting. That's why we offer a different approach to discovering the natural world: one where you're free to wander, ask "silly" questions, and explore on your own terms. And when you come here you'll see we're a museum unlike anything else. In a nutshell, we're naturally different.

Item Special Note
The winning bidder may pick up items at Bridges Academy starting on Wedesday, May 1st from 9-10am or 2-3pm in Lisa Herz’s office.
Items that need to be mailed such as gift cards/certificates will be sent via USPS.
If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email lisa.herz@bridges.edu by May 3rd and we will do so at your expense.
Items too large for regular postal service will be shipped at the winning bidder's expense. Shipping charges for USPS Flat Rate Boxes are as follows: $8 for small boxes, $13 for medium boxes, $18 for large boxes. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. In the event that your item requires additional postage you will be notified and your card will be charged.
