Come take a week or even a month to unwind from your busy life and enjoy cool mountain breezes under the warming sun while spending time relaxing and feeding your adventurous side all at the same time. Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, and Canyons Resort all remain open during the summer months offering a plethora of trails for hiking and mountain biking.

GREAT STUFF TO DO IN PARK CITY:

Mountain Biking and Hiking- According to the International Mountain Bicycling Association, Park city is the highest rated mountain biking destination in the world! Park City and the surrounding hills offer more than 400 miles of trails that can be enjoyed by hikers and bikers alike. Get out and enjoy a leisurely stroll and catch a glimpse or two of our beautiful wildlife or take an adrenaline raising downhill bike ride. Deer Valley Resort, Canyons Resort, and Park City Mountain Resort all offer lift access to some of the mountain trails.

Horseback Riding- There really is never a reason to rent a car when visiting Park City. Year round you can use the easy bus system or hail one of the many cabs but in the summer there is something else to ride. Ride a horse! Get off the roads and experience the mountains from a new perspective. Ride up the hills and down into the valleys, through lush aspen trees and underbrush. What a way to experience the Rockies!

Fishing- No matter where you are in Park City you are never too far from a river, stream, or reservoir full of native fish. Put on waders and grab a pole to spend the day in the cool mountain waters. Feel free to venture out alone or go with one of the many experienced guides in town. Make sure to check out the nearby Provo and Weber Rivers.

Golf - Park City might just be the best setting around for a game of golf. Gorgeous mountain vistas, cool dry breezes, and more bluebird days then you’ll find at any elevation. Our Park City Golf Club located in the heart of town has consistently ranked as one of the premier public courses in the intermountain region. Sitting at an elevation of 6,700 feet you can actually add distance to your shots and the temperature is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than other courses in the area.

Hot Air Ballooning- If you really want to see all Park City has to offer do it from the air! Rise up a few thousand feet over theland during a peaceful hot air balloon ride. Get up early and experience a breathtaking sunrise flight. Take a romantic trip for you and your loved one with a champagne toast. Water Sports and Rafting. Even though we are in the high desert there is no shortage of water recreation in Northern Utah. Spend a day on one of the three reservoirs within 20 minutes of town where you can boat, waterski, wakeboard, paddleboard, or just go for a swim. The rivers are a great place to spend the day rafting or taking a leisurely tube ride.

Arts and Culture- Spend some time fulfilling the art lover inside. Park City is a thriving, world renowned art community that is ready to be explored. Browse through the local art galleries where you can find the best from local designers as well as from all over the world. Take in a theater or dance performance at the Eccles Center or Egyptian Theater.

Shopping- Make sure to do some shopping while in town to find goodies you can’t find anywhere else. There is everything from handmade furniture, books, sportswear, art collectibles, Western antiques, and so much more. Main Street is lined with quaint shops and galleries. To find your favorite brand names stop by the popular Tanger Outlet Mall. There is also fun shopping at the resort center of Park City Mountain Resort, Silverlake Village at Deer Valley, and the resort village at Canyons.

Dining- Park City has more restaurants per capita than Paris, France. That is a lot of food! We have everything
from gourmet Italian, spicy Southwestern, unique Asian, Cowboy grub, and everything in between.
During the summer months enjoy eating outside on the several patios that line Main Street.

They offer a wide range of homes in Park City for rent with all of the amenities including hot tubs, free wireless and much more!

Free Dial-A-Ride transportation service is available to all guests staying in the Empire Pass Community of Deer Valley Resort, which includes the Flagstaff Community. Dial-A-Ride is an “on call” shuttle, based upon availability. A fleet of vehicles is dedicated to the Empire Pass area to escort guests anywhere in the Deer Valley and Park City areas.
