Glass Class and Wine Tasting for Four
Your day begins at Half Moon Bay Art Glass. After an introduction explaining the procedure of making a piece of glass art, each person will spend about 20 minutes one-to-one with the artist who will support them in making their project. The finished piece will need to stay in an annealer overnight and can be picked up the following day or shipped (for an additional fee, about $10). In beginner classes, you may learn to make a mini-pumpkin, memory ball, or paper weight.
Following your class, you’ll enjoy gourmet picnic snacks from La Nebbia Winery and then venture to La Nebbia’s tasting room where you will taste five of their wines. La Nebbia produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and also Port and Dessert wines. Try your hand at Bocce Ball. You’ll leave with a mini-bottle of La Nebbia Sparkling wine.
To be arranged for a mutually agreeable date with both Half Moon Bay Art Glass and La Nebbia Winery. Minimum age for art glass class is 12 years. Valid until April 2020.
