Whitewater Rafting Package for Four
This full-day 15 mile whitewater rafting trip on the American River’s South Fork Lower Gorge includes trained guide, all equipment, hot breakfast and gourmet lunch, and is suitable for nearly every age. From thrilling rapids to beautiful scenery, historic spots and great camping – they can all be found when rafting the American River.
If you are a first-time rafter looking to “test the water” or if you are simply looking for a great day out on the river, then rafting the American River’s South Fork Lower Gorge is the perfect trip for you.
As you float and paddle through on one of the most historic and gorgeous stretches of river in the western United States, your highly experienced guide will tell the story of the area’s human history, wildlife and exploration during the Gold Rush era, and the river’s modern role in California water and power delivery system.
Included is one night “Glamping” before the trip at the American River Resort in a riverfront cabin tent. That’s right – no setup! Cabin tents, ready for you to move in, are sturdy, watertight canvas tents sitting on raised platforms with deck railings and chairs. Inside are comfortable cots for your own sleeping bag or pad and blankets.
You will wake up in the morning to a hot breakfast, and a gourmet deli-style build your own wrap for lunch served riverside.
Valid for ages six and older during the 2019 season.
