Item Description
This outfit was made by Natalia Soares da Silva, a fashion design student at Lindenwood University.
It was inspired by this women’s pocket watch from the late 1700s, which is made from gold and studded with seed pearls. Little is known about this piece except that it was made for a woman. Women wore timepieces in many ways: as necklaces, brooches, lapel pins, or on a chain clipped to a jacket and tucked into a pocket.
