Item Description
16 authentic buttons from the 1964 Presidential campaign. Goldwater ran and lost to LBJ. He is the author of "A Conscience of a Conservative".
All are in excellent condition. The collection includes a "flasher" at the bottom center that has two views, the faces of Barry Goldwater and running mate Bill Miller. 1964 is the last Presidential election for which all buttons were made and ordered exclusively from the campaigns and are "pure Americana". Since 1964, more and more buttons are made to satisfy the fancies of collectors and to fatten the wallets of enterprising individuals.
The "Stop Socialism" button is especially valuable.

Item Special Note
Buttons are pinned on paper and placed in a protective vinyl sleeve.
