Item Description
This set of Navajo earrings (Post-style pierced), necklace (pendant + thin chain) and ring (approx. size 9 1/2) were given to me by a friend. The pendant is marked "Sterling". I believe that the inlay on all pieces is turquoise and I believe they are genuine Navajo-made, but I do not have documentation of authenticity.
Item Special Note
- I lightly cleaned each piece with silver cleaner and they are beautiful. The bear-paw piece on the ring is smaller than the other pieces - about 3/8 inch in diameter. The bear paw on the earrings is about 7/16 inch, and the pendant is slightly larger at about 1/2 inch. The thin pendant chain is 21" long (end-to end so it is a choker style necklace.)The ring fits my index finger and my ring finger is a size 7, so it is fairly large. The ring (other than the bear paw) is very thin and it has lost its roundness a bit.I never wore any of these pieces and I do not think the earring or necklace were ever worn, but I do feel that the ring was worn because it is not perfectly rounded as a new piece would be.
