Two one hour piano lessons for adult student (any level - beginner to advanced). Usual fee $80 per lesson but you can start your bids on this great offer!!!
Julie Wegener began piano study at age 6 and performed with the Symphony of the Air on WNYC at age 10. She studied with Zenon Fishbein at the Manhattan School of Music and with Vladimir Feltsman. Julie also holds an MD degree from SUNY Buffalo. She has taught piano for over 20 years and created “Piano á la cart” (1996-2003), an acoustic piano on a flatbed trailer, performing in park preserves & rail trails in the Hudson Valley, funded by NYSCA & other grants. She served as Music School Director & piano faculty member at the Music School at Dutchess Community College (1998-2014). In addition to her active teaching studio in Washington Heights, Julie is NYC Coordinator of MusicLink, a non-profit organization that provides long term individual music instruction to students in financial need, and serves on the board of the NYS Music Teachers Association as MusicLink chair. She is also on the steering committee of Uptown Progressive Action and co-chairs the UPA Single Payer Committee (w/Ting Barrow!). Julie is also a board member of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) NY Metro Chapter.
